Getting Dragon Eggs can be a bit complex but I?m going to guide you step-by-step to getting your first one. It?s a highly useful material for crafting high-end gear, getting the Dragon fruit, and the Draco race. Here?s how to get and use Dragon Eggs in Blox Fruits.
Blox Fruits Dragon Egg Guide
You get Dragon Eggs using the Dragon Tether ability in the Volcano Event on Prehistoric Island by keeping the Dino Skull Relic above 90% health until the event ends. You can visit the Prehistoric Island and do the Volcano Event at any time but you need the Dragon Tether to collect the Dragon Egg, which I?ll explain below. I highly recommend you be level 2000 to 2500+ before and have at least a Magma fruit or better before doing the steps below. Here?s a step-by-step guide on getting the Dragon Egg:
- Start with Dojo Belt Quests: You need the Black Dojo Belt to unlock the Dragon Wizard NPC that gives us the Dragon Tether ability. Follow my All Dojo Belt guide to go from White Belt to Black Belt. You can find all the NPCs needed in the Dragon Dojo on Hydra Island in the Third Sea.
- Getting Black Belt: As you?ll see in the belts guide, to get the Black Dojo Belt, you?ll need to visit and complete the Prehistoric Island and Volcano Event once. This means protecting the Dino Skull Relic and not letting Volcano Pressure reach 100%. Check out my Prehistoric Island guide for more details, including how to craft the Volcanic Magnet with Blaze Embers to spawn it easily. Note that you won?t be able to collect the Dragon Egg the first time you do the Volcano Event since you won?t have Dragon Tether.
- Dragon Wizard & Dragon Tether: Once you complete the Black Belt mission, the Dragon Wizard NPC will appear in the Dragon Dojo on Hydra Island. Simply talk to him and select the Dragon Tether option to learn this skill which allows you to pick up Dragon Eggs.
- Getting Dragon Eggs: Now you just have to spawn the Prehistoric Island again. This time, you?ll need to protect the Dino Skull Relic from the Lava Golems extremely well so that it doesn?t drop below 90% HP throughout the fight. The Volcano Pressure % doesn?t matter but don?t let it reach 100 as always. You have to damage Lava Golems or the Volcano cracks at least once without dying in the event to qualify for the Dragon Egg. If you manage this when the timer runs out, a Dragon Egg will spawn. You can interact with it while having the Dragon Tether to pick it up.

Dragon Egg Tips in Blox Fruits
Here are some tips for the Prehistoric Island, Volcano Event, and Dragon Eggs:
- Party Up: While you can do the Volcano Event alone, I highly recommend bringing at least one other person as it makes defending the Dino Skull Relic and keeping the pressure down on the Volcano drastically easier.
- Sailing Safety: As you sail Sea Danger Level 6 to find the Prehistoric Island, the Terrorsharks can drag you into the water. Bring either the Portal fruit to despawn them with Dimensional Rift, the Buddha fruit to walk on water, or any flying fruit or one that spawns water platforms like Magma.
- Volcano Magnet: It?s possible to spawn the Prehistoric Island without the magnet but it drastically increases your chances. You can even bring friends and have them sail their own boats with the magnet to spread out and increase the chances of the island spawning even more. Just make sure the player who finds the island doesn?t move away from it as it will despawn.
- More People More Loot: For each person you bring to do the event together, more loot will spawn. You get 5 Dinosaur Bones per person and 1 Dragon Egg per person. That said, while you can pick up as many bones as you want, you can only pick up 1 Dragon Egg.
- Best Fruits for Volcano: Any fruit with good AOE damage will do but it?s also important to bring a fruit with the flight ability so that you can move around the Dino Skull or around the Volcano pressure points. I recommend Magma, Light, or Dragon. Also, fruits with stunning fruits work well to control and destroy the lava golems.
- Solo Tips: If you?re trying to solo, the Dragon fruit is a powerhouse but also Buddha?s Awakened C?s range can almost cover the front side of the Volcano while keeping up with Lava Golems. The Awakened Quake is also handy due to its incredible AOE damage. The Ghoul Mask and Ghoul race also help with sustaining your HP solo.
- Lava Hurts: Don?t step into the Lava even if you have the Magma or Leopard fruits as it will kill you. Dying disqualifies you from getting a Dragon Egg.
