Dragon Scales exclusively drop from Dragon Crew Warriors and Dragon Crew Archers on the outskirts of Hydra Island in the Third Sea. You can find them by:

• Going to Hydra Island in the Third Sea.
• Then going to the Dragon Crew Quest Giver.
• Dragon Crew Warriors are closer to the Quest Giver but more spread out, while Archers are further but more grouped.
• Both Warriors and Archers have the same Dragon Scale drop chance.

While Dragon Crew Warriors are better for farming XP since they?re closer to the Quest Giver, Archers are much better for farming Dragon Scales since they?re more grouped up. Here are some tips for farming Dragon Scales:

• Dragon Crew Archers: If you?re not using auto clickers and are farming the old-fashioned way, go for Archers instead of Warriors since they?re more grouped up. Aggro all of them and now any AOE damage fruit will do, but I highly recommend Buddha for safety since Archers can deal a lot of damage with their ranged move. Aura/Buso Haki is also a must and you can optionally bring the Choppa Accessory for better Fruit damage.
• Best Fruit: Besides Buddha for safety, any massive AOE fruit like Quake or Dragon will do you wonders for farming Dragon Scales. For example, the Quake Dual Tsunami or the Evolved version Sea Quake covers a huge area that can annihilate a lot of Archers and Warriors if you stand on the hill above them.
• AFK Farming: If you don?t mind using auto clickers, I recommend downloading TinyTask. It basically allows you to record a move with your keyboard and mouse with the Record button. Also, get yourself the Quake fruit and have the V move Evolved to Seaquake for optimal farming. Then, go to where the Dragon Crew Quest Giver is and stand on the platform above him so that you can see all the Warriors and Archers. Open TinyTask, click on Continuous Playback under Prefs and lastly, hit record. Now all you have to do is use the V move once and stop the recording once it?s done. Click Play and watch your character farm Dragon Scales while you can go AFK.
